Omaha solid waste collection suspended; delayed by a day

OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — The Public Works Department, Environmental Quality Division, announced that solid waste collections are suspended due to inclement weather. Collections will be delayed by one day this week.

Tuesday’s area that was not collected will be collected on Wednesday. Wednesday’s area will be collected on Thursday. There is no solid waste collection on Friday due to the New Year’s holiday. Thursday’s area will be collected on Saturday and Friday’s area will be collected on Sunday.

Residents also are advised to look towards the local news media for any additional updates. Missed collections may be reported to the Solid Waste Hotline at 402-444-5238 after 7:00PM on the scheduled collection day.
